Nexium is a prescription drug. It’s a generic version of Prilosec. But it’s also available at pharmacies. They’re different. Nexium is available at most pharmacies, but you should be able to buy it from a pharmacy if your doctor prescribes it. Nexium is available in a tablet form, and you should take one of the two forms if you have to take it for the first time.
Nexium comes in doses of 30 mg, 40 mg, and 60 mg. You can buy the generic at the pharmacy, but if your doctor prescribes it for you, you can take the tablet form of Nexium. You may need to take one tablet daily for the rest of your life, and you may need to take it for the rest of your life. Nexium can be taken with or without food. You should take your doctor’s prescription at least half an hour before you plan to take Nexium to prevent stomach upset.
